Welcome

My life is centered around my undying love and devotion to: writing, art, and music. 

I am a recent graduate from Marquette University.  I graduated with a Bachelor's degree in journalism from the Diederich College of Communication at Marquette in Milwaukee,WI. I am always looking for new ways to help me reach my goal of becoming a music journalist. 

My love of journalism started with my love for literature. Than it blossomed when I became a feature writer for Saint Francis High School's newspaper, "The Spartan Spotlight". My writing gained focus from my passion and talent for music and art. Thus, my major and focus came into being. 

As a college student, I have partnered with Milwaukee Neighborhood News Service for numerous pieces.I also partnered with the Journal Sentinel's own Meg Kissinger for a piece called "Imminent Danger" that won a Polk Award in 2013. In 2013 until 2015, I worked as a multimedia journalist/marketing intern.
